We offer professional-quality audio and video recording services for student musicians and professionals alike.

Music: Video Audition Recording

Record in our Black Box Theater recital hall, with a Steinway Concert 9-ft Model D Grand Piano available to pianists. Ideal for audition applications and competition entries.

Two Hour Recording Package: $300 for up to 2 hours of studio time. Includes up to four MP4 video files of your recordings. Musicians with more than 2-4 repertoire selections should plan on booking multiple sessions.
One Hour Recording Package: $180 for up to an hour of studio time. Includes up to two MP4 video files of your recordings. Recommended for musicians recording 1-2 shorter pieces or movements.

Additional MP4 files are available for $20 each. Our standard file delivery turnaround is approximately one week from the date you confirm your selected takes. Additional fees apply for rush service.

Cancellation/Rebooking Policy: A $25 cancellation/rebooking fee will apply for changes made to sessions after the booking confirmation email has been sent.

Recording Studio Hours

The OCMD recording studio is open by reservation only on weekend afternoons and evenings, as well as select weeknights. Please submit a booking request to inquire about specific dates.

Audio Recording

Bookings start at $60 per hour for studio time with an engineer (2-hour minimum), mixing, and/or editing.
