ABOUT OC MUSIC & DANCE
Orange County Music & Dance is a non-profit performing arts school in Irvine, California, where artists, educators, and students come together to grow talent and enrich lives.
Our programs begin in Early Childhood and continue through our School of Music and Dance (ages 5–18), offering lessons, classes, ensembles, and performance opportunities at every stage. For students ready to go further, our Music and Dance Conservatories (grades 9–12) provide pre-professional training for dedicated young artists.
We believe the performing arts should be accessible to all and offer financial assistance to support families in need.
OCMD’s community programs extend artistic opportunities to the greater Orange County community through our Recording Services and our Operation Gig program for US military veterans.

To nurture, inspire, and empower Orange County’s youth to pursue their artistic dreams through outstanding instrumental and dance education, and to provide a home for community members of all ages to advance their knowledge and appreciation of the arts.

OCMD is a Steinway Select School
OCMD is proudly one of only a small handful of music schools designated in Orange County. We have 15 Steinway or Steinway-designed pianos, including a 9-ft Concert Grand Model D piano in our Black Box Theater, plus four additional grand pianos in various teaching studios.
