Whether you're beginning for the first time, returning to an instrument you once played, or looking to take your skills further, adult private lessons offer individualized instruction with OC Music & Dance faculty. Lessons are available in a variety of instruments and voice and are tailored to each student’s experience, interests, and musical goals.

BEFORE YOUR FIRST CLASS OR LESSON

  • Not necessarily. Many of our adult music classes and private lessons welcome beginners, while some ensembles are designed for more experienced musicians. Any prerequisites will be noted in the class description.

  • Trial options vary by program. Private lesson students may request a trial lesson before enrolling. Contact us for information about trial opportunities for group classes and ensembles. Private lesson trials are $50/30-minutes.

  • It depends on the instrument and class. Some instruments may be available for use during lessons or classes, while others require students to bring their own. We can help you determine what you'll need before getting started.
