Diego Campos
Community Lesson Instructor
FRENCH HORN
Diego Campos is a music educator and performer based in Southern California. He is currently pursuing a degree in music education from Cal State University Fullerton. He plays In the Wind Symphony under the direction of Dr. Dustin Barr and the Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Kimo Furimoto. He has had the opportunity to learn from Professor Warren Gref, preforming for greats like Frank Ticheli and Mason Soria, and gaining honors like becoming a finalist for the school-wide concerto competition.
After, he plans to pursue his teaching credential. He previously studied at Riverside City College under the teachings of Kevin Mayse and Steve Mahpar. While at RCC, he had the opportunity to premiere pieces by Anthony Plog and Adam Schoenberg, and play with Tom Hooten, Alex Ilse, and Wayne Bergeron. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, watching sports, and spending time with friends and family.
