WHAT IS SPARK?
The Spark Program prepares your child for further study in an instrument or vocal discipline of their choice by first building strong fundamentals in pitch, rhythm, and listening skills while whole-heartedly embracing the joy of making music.

Tuition: $180/session

MUSIC DISCOVERY
Tuesdays, 4:30-5:15 pm
JANUARY 9 - FEBRUARY 27
Music Discovery is an introductory class where students will explore different types of instruments and instrument families. Activities build listening and basic singing skills while allowing students to see and experience instruments up close. By the end of the course, students will understand different instruments and be able to identify their unique sounds.
Keyboard 1
Tuesdays, 5:30-6:15 pm
January 9 - FEBRUARY 27
In Keyboard 1, students build a strong musical foundation on keyboard by applying concepts introduced in Music Discovery. Students will learn to identify notes on the piano, play rhythms, dynamics, and basic songs. Activities will build listening skills and introduce reading music. By the end of the course, students will be prepared for Keyboard 2. The course will consist of 8 weeks of classes and a culminating performance demonstration during normal class time on the last class.
