Dr. Sarkis Baltaian is an internationally recognized pianist, educator, and arts administrator whose career reflects a deep commitment to excellence in music education. He holds Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California. Dr. Baltaian has served on the faculties of The Colburn School, the Pasadena Conservatory of Music, and the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and currently leads as Director of the Instrumental Music Conservatory at the Orange County School of the Arts. His leadership encompasses curriculum development, faculty mentorship, and strategic program growth.
As a performer, Dr. Baltaian has appeared as a soloist with orchestras in the United States and Europe and performed at distinguished venues including Carnegie Hall. An award-winning artist and active adjudicator, he has served on juries for national and international piano competitions and presented master classes worldwide. Through performance, scholarship, and visionary leadership, Dr. Baltaian continues to inspire the next generation of musicians.
