Dan Reckard is an accomplished pianist, saxophonist, composer, and educator dedicated to cultivating the next generation of musicians through rigorous training and real-world experience. 

A cum laude graduate of the University of Southern California, he also studied abroad at the Universidade Federal da Bahia in Brazil and is an alumnus of the Orange County School of the Arts. Dan has served on the faculty of Interlochen Arts Academy as Interim Jazz Director and has taught at Saddleback Jazz Camp, Irvine School of Music, and JazzReach in Los Angeles.

Professionally, Dan tours nationally with the acclaimed Americana band Jamestown Revival and has appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Conan. He has performed with notable artists including Crystal Bowersox and Darren Criss, and has served as music director for Samantha Sidley and Annie Trousseau. He also led the Brazilian jazz group Bossa Zuzu. As a composer and arranger, his work spans jazz ensembles and film, including contributions to the feature film Midway.
