Arletta Anderson

Modern | June 6

Arletta Anderson is a Los Angeles-based dance artist, performance maker, and educator. She has enjoyed a robust career as a freelance dancer, working with various choreographers in Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco. Additionally, Arletta makes performance work in collaboration with writer/theater artist Adam Smith. Their work has been commissioned and presented by venues nationally. Arletta is currently on faculty at Loyola Marymount University and Orange County School of the Arts, is part of the Ground Grooves teaching staff, and guides yoga/movement classes for non-dancers.


Ilya Nikurov

Modern | May 9

Ilya Nikurov is a movement artist, teacher, and award-winning choreographer from Russia, now based in California. He performed internationally for nine seasons with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel and previously danced with leading companies in Russia. In 2018, he received the Yair Shapira Award for his contribution to contemporary dance in Israel. Ilya co-directs the collaborative project Outrun The Bear with Megan Doheny, presenting and creating work for festivals and companies worldwide.


Johnny Zhong

Ballet | June 13

Johnny Zhong graduated from the Shen Yang Arts Institute in China and performed for seven years as a soloist with the National Ballet of China, Guangzhou. His featured roles included the Golden Idol in La Bayadère, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, and the Court Jester in Swan Lake. A semi-finalist in the Varna and Shanghai International Ballet Competitions, he now teaches classical ballet and pas de deux throughout Southern California and previously served as Assistant Director of Utah Metropolitan Ballet.


Rachel Oberg

Ballet | May 16

Rachel Oberg trained in ballet at Blue Springs Ballet in Kansas City and later earned a BFA in Ballet Education and a teaching certificate from the University of Utah, studying with renowned faculty including Conrad Ludlow and Attila Ficzere. She has performed professionally with Ballet Theatre of Maryland and Contemporary Ballet Dallas and has appeared nationwide as a guest artist in The Nutcracker. Rachel has taught ballet for over a decade and is currently on faculty at the Orange County School of the Arts.


Megan Allen

Contemporary | May 30

Megan Allen is a Long Beach–based dance artist, choreographer, and educator. She trained at the Orange County School of the Arts and earned her BFA in Dance from California State University, Long Beach. Megan has performed in works by numerous contemporary choreographers and has created award-winning choreography recognized by Youth America Grand Prix and the American College Dance Association. She previously co-directed Westside Dance Project and currently directs the Hyphen Artist Program while teaching throughout Southern California.


Yeonjung Chang

Ballet | May 30

Yeonjung Chang is a classical ballet artist and educator from Seoul, South Korea. She trained for 11 years at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, earning a Specialist Degree with Honors in Dance Pedagogy and Choreography and receiving an Honorary Diploma at the 10th Moscow International Ballet Competition. She has performed internationally with the Imperial Russian Ballet and other major companies. Chang has taught worldwide and currently serves on the faculty at the Orange County School of the Arts.


Kevin Pascua

Hip Hop | May 16

Kevin Pascua began freestyling and b-boying in 2006 before discovering choreography in high school, where he competed in numerous dance competitions. He later directed Team Millennia while developing his own creative projects. Kevin has taught at leading studios and schools across California, including Snowglobe, OCSA, and StageX, and has also taught internationally in China. He specializes in hip-hop grooves and expressive choreography, emphasizing performance, musicality, and versatility.


Megan Doheny

Contemporary | May 9

Megan Doheny is a movement artist, teacher, and award-winning choreographer based in California. She danced for eight seasons with Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel, touring internationally to more than 20 countries. In 2021, she received the Yair Shapira Prize for her contribution to contemporary dance in Israel. Megan co-founded the collaborative project Outrun The Bear with Ilya Nikurov, presenting work worldwide. She has been an artist-in-residence at LA Dance Project and a guest artist in Europe and the U.S.

Robert Duran

Musical Theater | June 6

Robert Duran is a visionary choreographer and master instructor known for his innovative style, powerful stage presence, and passion for dance. A member of the American Guild of Variety Artists, he has performed in productions for The Walt Disney Company and created choreography presented in New York, Canada, Lake Tahoe, and aboard Carnival Cruise Line.

In 1993, he founded The Dance Place, a competitive dance school he directed for 25 years, known for developing technically strong and expressive dancers. He also served as Musical Theater Director at Orange County School of the Arts, mentoring the next generation of performers.
