David Chang is an avid amateur violinist and dedicated music advocate who believes in the power of music to bring people together and make a positive impact in the community.

For many years, David has led and supported ensembles of amateur and professional musicians, organizing performances and charitable concerts throughout California and abroad. He has served as coach of the OCMD Quartet for numerous years, overseeing repertoire selection, rehearsals, and performances at charity and special events, including programs at the Nixon Library and Bowers Museum.

David has also organized and supported benefit concerts and fundraising initiatives for disaster relief, underserved communities, and disadvantaged children, including efforts that provided clean water systems to schools in underserved regions of Vietnam.

He currently serves as manager of the OCMD String Ensemble, where he continues to contribute his musical experience, organizational leadership, and passion for building a vibrant community through music.
