Daisy Li began her piano studies at the age of four and has since built a vibrant international career as a performer and educator. Active on stage for over two decades, she released her first solo piano album at twelve and continues to captivate audiences with her expressive artistry and musical depth.

Daisy has performed widely as both a soloist and collaborator, including a featured performance of Grieg’s Piano Concerto in A minor with full orchestra at the Algarve Music Series in Faro, Portugal. She is a first-prize winner of several international competitions such as the Global Piano Artistes Audition, the United States Open Music Competition, and the Grotrian-Steinweg International Robert Schumann Competition for Young Pianists. She holds a Bachelor of Music from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where she studied with Robert Merfeld and developed a strong foundation in piano artistry. She later completed her Master of Music and Dual Degree in Piano Pedagogy at New York University, studying under Marilyn Nonken and Jeffrey Swann, and participating in masterclasses with Eduardus Halim and Eteri Andjaparidze.

A dedicated educator, Daisy is a Steinway Educational Partner and has more than seven years of experience teaching students of all levels across the world. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes not only technical excellence but also musical creativity, artistic curiosity, and independent thinking—guiding students to listen deeply, think critically, and perform with authentic artistic expression.
