Creative Movement – Ages 4-6 Years

This class provides dancers with an environment that encourages individual creative expression. Dancers will explore movement and learn the basic fundamentals of dance vocabulary through guided improvisation and movement games set to popular music. Creative Movement class will help further develop your young artist’s coordination, listening, and social skills in a fun and safe environment. Dancers must wear a leotard, tights, ballet flats, and hair pulled away from the face in either a ponytail or bun. Ballet skirts or shorts are optional.
Beginning Ballet – Ages 7 – 11 Years
Fridays 12/6 – 3/6. 5:30PM – 6:30PM
Dancers will learn the fundamentals of ballet through a traditional class that moves from the barre to the center with a series of simple combinations. Beginning Ballet will focus on proper alignment, coordination, balance, and strength. Dancers must wear a leotard, tights, ballet flats, and hair pulled away from the face in either a ponytail or bun. Ballet skirts or shorts are optional.
Beg/Int Ballet – Ages 7 – 16 Years
Fridays 12/6 – 3/6. 4:00PM – 5:30PM
This class is open to beginning and intermediate ballet students who have a a basic understanding of the classical ballet vocabulary. The class is a fast paced, traditional ballet class that starts at the barre and moves to the center. There will be a focus on strong technique and mastering beaten jumps and multiple turns. Students must wear pink tights, a leotard, hair in a bun or twist, and flat ballet shoes.
Tiny Tots – Ages 2 1/2 – 3 1/2 Years
Tuesday 12 /3 – 3/3. 9:30AM – 10:15AM
This class is designed for our tiniest dancers to be introduced to the art of ballet! Our Tiny Tots class encourages students to explore their own creativity while simultaneously learning simple, fundamental ballet technique. Students also further develop their social, listening, and motor skills. Dancers must wear pink ballet tights, any colored leotard, and pink ballet flat shoes. Ballet skirts are optional. If your student has long hair, please have their hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun.
